Rural women are torchbearers for social, economic and environment transformation for the 'New India'. In India, Agriculture employs about 80 percent of rural women. Empowering and mainstreaming rural women workforce in agriculture can bring paradigm shift towards economic growth.
In India, the Nano, small and marginal farmers have often been devoid of appropriate knowledge of farming interventions and updated technologies. They lack information on basic agriculture inputs, technological know-how and improved agricultural practices. The awareness, availability, accessibility and accreditation criteria for this category of farmers have been overlooked. The ignorance of this aspect has cropped up as a major concern.

About us
Keeping the concern of small and marginal farmers in mind, Agriroute Foundation was established. The company cater to the farmers need by establishing one Farmer Resource Centre (FRC) in a catchment of 5-6 villages. This FRC caters to approximately one thousand farmers with an average land holding of one and half acre. It also expects that there will be some walk-in farmers’ footfall which shall contribute to another five hundred acres for FRC. The total catchment for one FRC will be around two thousand acres.
